    Carol & Bob Klamert:
We are looking to cover 20 yr old pressure treated deck. Previously used solid deck stain. After cleaning, sanding & preparing deck would your semi solid stain cover the old pressure treated fairly solid? We have had peeling problems in the past. Deck faces East, not very shaded. Do you have sample cans of the semi solid? Approximatly how many Gal's needed for 700 sq ft two coats?
    Thank you,
    Bob & Carol

100% of the solid will need to be removed. You should then let the wood season for a month and use the Restore a Deck Kit after the month for prep. The AC is penetrating as long as you prep correctly. You would need about 4 gallons for 700 sq. feet.

I am ordering your stain for an IPE deck and sounds like Mahagony would bring out the IPE color but is this like the IPE or Penofin oil where it goes on thin given the density of the wood. So does it need to be applied with applied with a brush and then wiped w/a rag. Or what is the best where to apply and any cautions or suggestions on applying. I know when we used Penofin there were sticky/take spot left in some spots so I just want to make sure we apply it correctly. Also please email me the cost for 2-3 gallons to ship to Maryland. Also how soon can we get it. Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you.

One light coat for IPE and do not back wipe, just let it dry into the wood. Shipping to ND cost about $15-$20 for 2-3 gallons. Takes 2-3 days.

    Joshua Reichek:
Are there any dealers/representatives in California -- specifically Santa Rosa?

I have an IPE deck do your recommend the Amber or the Mahogany? From the color swatches on line the Mahogany looks to dark and the Amber looks to pale.

We are an online dealer for the AC stains. Most us the Mahogany color for the IPE.

I have a one year old home with pressure treated pine decking. What product would you recommend to stain it with ? Your products have a high recommendation.

Use our AC Wood and decking stain. Any color will work. Take inconsideration that lighter tinted colors will fade faster then a darker tint.
